This course is aimed at students who are interested in construction in mountainous and high-altitude regions or who wish to develop a professional connection to this field. The focus is on the specific technical, spatial and environmental challenges of building in the Alpine region. The course content is rooted in the Faculty of Engineering and is particularly relevant to students of architecture as well as Earth and Atmospheric Sciences who are interested in interdisciplinary approaches to building in mountainous terrain.
