ETH Alumnae Inspire the Next Generation on Engineers’ Day
At the Women’s Civil Engineering Forum at ETH Zurich, alumnae and students gathered to exchange experiences, insights and practical career advice. 👷♀️
Three ETH alumnae in civil engineering shared personal reflections on their professional journeys, proud achievements and the realities of working in the industry. The discussions were followed by company pitches, an apéro and lively networking, all supported by AIV Alumni to strengthen visibility, connection and community within the field.
As part of Engineers’ Day—World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development—Amberg Engineering contributed to the celebration with an inspiring presentation entitled “Fascination Underground”, delivered by Jasmin Amberg. Her talk highlighted the innovation, challenges and future potential of underground space, sparking an enthusiastic exchange among participants at the Forum organised by the Akademischer Ingenieur:innen-Verein (AIV) at ETH Zurich on 4 March 2026.
Together, the event celebrated engineering excellence, encouraged future talent and showcased the diverse paths available within civil engineering.
