We're not just another engineering firm; we're one of the very few worldwide with an extensive track record in long Alpine tunnels. From the iconic Gotthard Base to the breath taking Brenner, we've left our mark in the heart of the mountains.
But here's the real kicker - our involvement in the Lyon-Turin high-speed railway project! This international marvel, stretching over 270 km, is set to unite the French and Italian high-speed rail networks. And at its core, a subterranean masterpiece - a 57.5 km tunnel, poised to be the world's longest!
Amberg Engineering has been with this project since its inception, and in 2017, we proudly secured the design, tendering, and job site supervision of the CO5 together with our four partners of the JV Allti, BG Consulting Engineers, Lombardi Engineering, Arcadis and MST - the most substantial civil work package.
Fast forward to today, and we're thrilled to announce the commencement of preparation works, including the construction of an access road and a dazzling Design & Build tunnel. Meet our incredible engineers on-site, Miguel Moreno and Alejandro Llop, who are leading the charge!
And here's the best part - this journey has only just begun! With the project set to span the next ten years, we're eager to grow, innovate, and shape the future of rail transport.
