Grand Paris Express – Construction of the new metro line 15
Once completed in 2031, the new Metro Line 15 will form a ring around the entire city of Paris, covering a total of 36 stations over a length of 75 km. Amberg Engineering is making an important contribution to this ambitious, large-scale project.
On the current construction section in the west of the city – between Île-Monsieur and the future Bécon-les-Bruyères station – a 14 km long tunnel is being built through geologically challenging ground. The automated metro will connect five new metro stations on two tracks.
Amberg Engineering is supporting the construction consortium with, among other things, all tunnel studies during the tendering process for planning and construction. In addition, Amberg Engineering is creating a 3D hydrogeological model, dimensioning the tunnel connection branches and designing the layout in collaboration with the system experts. Amberg Engineering is also developing proposals for the auscultation system and designing a GIS tool that represents information from the different actors.
