World Engineering Day, the day of engineers, will take place on March 4th, 2023. Amberg Engineering shares the enthusiasm for carrying out such a day. That is why the company is supporting the 2023 event as active-partner.
Amberg Engineering is one of the world's leading engineering companies in underground construction. For more than 50 years, we have been developing solutions in the fields of underground railway, road and metro tunnels, caverns, and infrastructure galleries. Many young people from different countries work at Amberg Engineering and learn engineering know-how from long-standing experienced civil engineers and tunneling specialists. We plan and manage exciting and challenging projects at home and abroad.
A LOOK UNDERGROUND - As part of Engineer's Day, we offer various guided tours of our tunnel construction sites. These take place as part of the 50th anniversary of the FGU (Swiss Tunnelling Society). Construction sites such as the new Albula Tunnel, Isla Bella, Ceneri Basis Tunnel, A3 Kerenzerberg, N8-Lungern/Kaiserstuhl Tunnel, and Open Day in the Hagerbach test tunnel, where we are involved, are open to you for guided tours on the following dates.
