Using exciting keynote speeches from external speakers in the new lecture 'Sustainable Building in the Alpine Region'. Guest listeners are very welcome, every Thursday from 5:00 p.m. in the large lecture hall at Campus Technik, Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck.
What does the present and future of building in the Alpine region look like, what challenges are we facing and what could possible strategies and solutions look like? Questions like these will be discussed in the lecture series at the University of Innsbruck together with external guest speakers.
Alpine regions are not only a unique natural and cultural area, but - and have often been for thousands of years - a historical, multilingual place of encounter and debate, a living and economic area for millions of people. In addition to adapted social and cultural lifestyles, anthropogenic use also requires, among other things, special technical strategies and solutions to meet the challenges, risks and dangers of the Alpine habitat.
