LECTURE ON THE TOPIC Excavation methods and construction support measures

This year's colloquium on underground construction on the topic of excavation methods and construction support measures will take place on November 30, 2023 at ETH Zurich.

Excavation methods and construction support measures are among the topics that are covered as part of the underground construction courses in the fall semester. The lectures at this year's winter colloquium serve to train civil engineering students. Planning and execution aspects of subsoil improvement or driving large cross-sections are explained using selected projects.

From Amberg Engineering we have a presentation about the U5 Munich project, lot 2, planning challenging construction measures in inner-city tunnel and station construction. The speaker is Paul Erdmann, Amberg Engineering AG, Cologne, Germany.
